
The Kia Forte seats five people on standard cloth upholstery
and six-way manually adjustable front seats. The top trim level features leatherette
upholstery, a 10-way power-adjustable driver's seat, and heated and ventilated
front seats.
The Forte has two complete sets of LATCH connections, but the system hasn't been evaluated for its ease of use. The Forte's front seats are comfortable and provide plenty of side and lateral support. Rear-seat space is adequate for taller riders.

The front seats of the Forte are spacious and have a large
support on both sides. The rear seat is ideal for high-ranking drivers.
The Forte 2019 comes standard with an integrated dual zone
climate control and an8-inch touch-screen infotainment system with a stereo
four-speaker, USB port and Bluetooth, and a Samsung CarPlay app. A rearview
camera, driver safety tracking, forward collision warning, automatically emergency
braking system, lane start notification and lane holding assistance are all
standard driver assistance features.
Optional features include remote start, proximity key entry,
push-button start, a sunroof, a leather-wrapped steering wheel and shift knob,
a six-speaker stereo, a seven-speaker Harman Kardon surround-sound stereo,
satellite radio, voice recognition, two additional USB ports, navigation, HD
Radio, and wireless phone charging. Adaptive headlights, automatic lamps, blind
spot control, back cross traffic warning, reverse parking sensors, pedestrian
detection as well as adaptive cruise control are available security
technologies.
The Forte infotainment system responds easily to entries and
transitions between menus. Large physical buttons under the screen provide
alternate ways to change the sound or the environment. Supporters praise the
long list of Forte's default and optional safety features.
The 2019 Forte is one of the largest in the class with a
15.3 cubic feet of trunk space. The back seat and the control trunk are
split-folding and are adjustable.
